In the heart of the financial district of Shanghai-Lujiazui,stands it's 39th tallest building -The Huaneng Union Tower. And here on the 22nd floor, within the headquarters of real estate company Home Value we find this reception desk. Quite an atypical corporate interior scheme , lush materials and muted tones, yet the reception desk is given a delicate crafted flourish in the form of this beautiful fretwork light box feature.

Thanks to Jono @ MSL Interiors for this topical posting - a reception desk clad to its front in 'Icelandic Lava Rock'. This unique use of stone is in turn juxtaposed with blue laminated glass desk top and sides.
We particularly admire the brave art direction to include the punchy graphic on the rear wall.

Fancy Pants

Corian wears the crown in this design sent in by its creators - the manufacturer, wholesaler and supplier, just off the Beethovenova in Brno : Amos Design .
